Major Cryptocurrency Firms Such As Binance, Civic, Tron Targeted In Flood Of Lawsuits

At least 10 class-action lawsuits were filed in New York Friday, against a number of major cryptocurrency projects.

According to a report from Offshore Alert, the complaints were filed in the Southern District of New York on April 3, claiming that the firms had sold digital tokens to U.S. investors that were actually unregistered securities.

A few of the names targeted in the suits include Binance, BitMEX operator HDR Global Trading, Tron, Civic, Block.One, Kyber Network and Status. Bibox, Quantstamp and Kucoin were also named in individual complaints.
