Tesla, the U.S. electric car manufacturer clean energy company, is working with the Shanghai Port Group (SIPG) to test a blockchain that would make the process of importing goods into China any easier.

According to an announcement on Tuesday, blockchain-based logistics provider CargoSmart revealed Tesla, the SIPG and Chinese cargo ship operator COSCO tested a blockchain app that shortened cargo release time and made it easier for Tesla's logistics teams to take ownership of goods once they are offloaded.
