Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), the former CEO of Bakkt, is set to liquidate all her holdings, after recent accusations of insider stock trading during the coronavirus-induced market crash.

According to a tweet on Wednesday, Loeffler and her husband Jeffrey Sprecher, CEO of ICE, will be liquidating their holdings in managed accounts, in order to focus on dealing with the coronavirus situation.

In regards to the situation Loeffler said, "I’m taking action to move beyond the media fixation on my assets by liquidating our stock holdings & moving into exchange-traded funds & mutual funds. I’m not doing this because I have to. I’ve done everything the right way, but this isn’t worth the distraction."
