Ethereum Foundation researcher Vlad Zamfir will serve as the company's main consensus agreement architect. CasperLabs plans to sponsor Zamfir's most research on PoS. Zamfir said his mission was to "develop protocol specifications in his new role" and "support the CasperLabs team" to understand the technology that was ultimately created. Zamfir will not participate in the coding of the blockchain itself and will be strictly involved as a researcher.
