According to Reuters, Crypto exchange Coinbase Global (COIN) is being sued by blockchain-based software company Veritaseum Capital LLC for infringement on a patent that was issued to Veritaseum founder Reggie Middleton.

According to Veritaseum, CoinDesk used the patent on some of its blockchain infrastructure. 

The company is seeking at least $350 million in damages.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday in U.S. District Court in Delaware.
