Wintermute Returns $92 Million Debt Despite Hack

According to reports by Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency market maker Wintermute returned $92 million of its $189.4 million debt, to TrueFi, despite having recently lost $160 million to a hack.

After repaying the debt, which had been the market maker's largest, the company still owes $75 million to Maple Finance and $22.4 million to Clearpool.

On Oct. 10, TrueFi issued a notice of default to Blockwater Technologies for failing to repay its $3.4 million Binance USD debt.
