Non-fungible token (NFT) scammer Monkey Drainer has stolen $800,000 worth of CryptoPunk and Otherside NFTs, according to blockchain sleuth ZachXBT.

The hack was the second in many weeks, the last of which consisted of $1 million worth of crypto and NFTs, scammed on Oct. 25.

The assets in this scam were sent through coin mixer Tornado Cash, according to reports by blockchain security firm Peckshield.

This month has seen more than $718 million being stolen across crypto platforms in its first two weeks, making it the worst month for hacks since the birth of crypto.

American actor Bill Murray also fell victim to one of these hacks, having lost $185,000 to an unidentified hacker in September.
