More than 7,500 Bitcoin ATMs Launched in the World

As of April 20, the world has 7,628 Bitcoin ATMs (BTMs), among which more than 1,200 were established this year, according to a chart from Coin ATM Radar. The chart also indicates that Bitcoin ATM installations' growth has been steady amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The United States holds the biggest portion of 5,422 BTMs, while the leading operator is CoinCloud with 653 ATMs, Decrypt reported. The BTMs remain in use despite social distancing. While some banks have closed ATMs, it is the operators who can decide whether to sanitize their BTMs, according to a report on CoinDesk.
