Over the past several months, Middle Eastern countries have quietly established their presence in the blockchain industry.  Some notable players are the countries Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Since the beginning of 2019, Bahrain’s central bank has reworked its economic structure to include a digital currency platform. In addition, Bahrain has partnered up with Saudi Arabia and the UAE to increase awareness and adoption of blockchain technology with the hopes of making transactions between these countries and seamless as possible.
