Ben Elliot, a Paris-based artist, is launching what he claims to be the world’s first personal cryptocurrency directly pegged to a career.

In an effort to revolutionize the artwork purchasing and collecting experience, Elliot is launching the Stellar blockchain-based digital currency, dubbed the Ben Elliot Token (BET). The token, which is set to be launched in 2021, will have its value linked to the market value of Elliot’s artwork.
