MicroStrategy executive chairman Michael Saylor has recently announced his company’s plans of releasing Bitcoin Lightning Network-powered software and solutions in 2023.

The Lightning Network is a second layer to Bitcoin’s blockchain that allows off-chain transactions.

The business intelligence company most recently announced it was looking to hire a Bitcoin Lightning Software Engineer as part of an effort to strengthen its Lightning Network team.

Saylor said the company is looking at releasing something by the first quarter of next year.
