According to data from Dune Analytics, September saw the most domain registrations, at over 430,000, while December saw the least, at just 52,000. May saw the most new users at over 64,000.

Research firm Delphi Digital has found that many buyers have been treating these domains as investments, buying and selling them for a profit.
