Minasul, a coffee wholesaler, plans to introduce a blockchain centered digital coin financed by coffee suppliers. The intention of this coffee coin is to allowed the farmers to purchase not only supplies such as fertilizer or machinery, but also food and other non-farm related products. Minasul is also looking to in the future allow the farmers to sell their coffee beans via mobile transactions in order to increase sales and production.
