Crypto exchange Binance has announced it will halt British pound (GBP) on- and off-ramps for new users starting March 13 and for all users staring May 22.

The decision came after Paysafe, Binance’s fiat partner that provides GBP deposit and withdrawal services, announced it will no longer be working with the exchange beginning May 22.

The change will affect less than 1% of users, and the exchange is working on finding an alternative solution, Binance said.
