During an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box on July 19, Larry Fink, the CEO of the world’s largest exchange-traded fund provider, BlackRock, claimed that he does not consider Libra a cryptocurrency. 

Fink stated: “I actually believe that the idea about Libra — I don’t think we need to create a new currency, but the technology to instantaneously calibrate all the currencies. That should be done.”
