BBC’s Russian Service reported that Dimitri Vasilev, the former CEO of the now nonexistent crypto exchange WEX, was arrested in Italy on Friday. 

Both Dmitri Gurin of the Russian embassy and the Italian financial police (Guardia de Finanza) declined to provide any further details.
