An industry blog reported $300 million revenue of Bitmain, the world’s largest computer chip company for bitcoin mining, for the first four months of 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and other issues.

The high earnings arose from Bitmain’s developing AI businesses, and the third generation AI chip BM1684.

Bitmain removed its co-founder, Micree Ketuan Zhan, last November. Since then, Zhan has been trying to return. On April 28, the local justice bureau in Beijing revoked the company’s attempt to change its legal representative, but this decision does not reinstate Zhan.
