Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange, is incorporating an AI tool called ToolsGPT into its trading platform to automate the analysis of market data, the firm announced in a press release on Thursday.
This new feature, a ChatGPT-based AI chatbot, enables users to query it for technical analysis, backtested price data, and other important metrics.
Released in November 2022, ChatGPT garnered significant user interest, sparking what some refer to as an "AI arms race." Since then, crypto companies and others in the tech industry have been striving to keep up with the AI trend by integrating artificial intelligence into their workflows.
By integrating ChatGPT into Bybit Tools, the firms aims to provide users with more comprehensive information to support their decision-making processes, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said.
