Whale Alert reported altogether 1 billion XRP transferred from Ripple Escrow wallet to Ripple on the first day of May, amounting to nearly a quarter-billion USD. The three transactions separately included 400 million, 500 million, and 100 million XRP. Among the 1 billion XRP transferred, 900 million tokens are locked in escrow at Ripple, per Whale Alert.

Ripple owns over 50% of XRP and unlocks the token from escrow monthly to third parties. According to Daily Hodl, Ripple XRP sales dropped by 86% in Q1 2020, as the company sold $1.75 million worth of XRP.
