On Wednesday, Jackson Pollock Studio collaborated with digital art platform Iconic Moments to launch an art collection named "Beyond the Edge". The collection features both NFTs and physical prints and showcases paint splatters that landed next to some of Pollock's masterpieces such as "Convergence" and "Blue Holes." Pollock was a renowned painter who played a pivotal role in the abstract expressionist movement. The paint-splattered floor of Pollock’s studio was uncovered in the late 1980s after his workspace was turned into a museum. The first series of the "Beyond the Edge" collection comprises 500 NFTs that capture four unique perspectives of Pollock's studio floor. Each NFT comes with a physical print, embossed and numbered by hand at the Jackson Pollock Studio. According to studio director Helen Harrison, the proceeds from the sale of the collection will be used to help the museum preserve its most precious assets.
