On July 22, security experts disclosed that the crypto payment platform Alphapo experienced a substantial loss of at least $31 million from its Ethereum hot wallets in a recent hacker attack. The stolen funds were then converted to ETH and moved to the Avalanche and Bitcoin blockchains, as revealed by on-chain sleuth ZachSBT. The security team at DeDotFi suspects that the hack might have been facilitated by a leak of private keys. Currently, investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
