Kin Foundation, the organization behind the protocol Kin, recently concluded a vote that will see 71% of the total KIN supply burned, according to reports by The Block. Founder of Kik Ted Livingston proposed for complete decentralization of Kin on July 6th; following a three-week voting period, the vote concluded on July 27th at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
In total, 7.06 trillion tokens are set to be burned, with the Kin Foundation responsible for burning 4.96 trillion of its KIN reserves, and Kik responsible for burning 2.1 trillion.
