Ilya Lichtenstein and rapper Heather Morgan, known by the stage name "Razzlekhan," pleaded guilty to laundering over $4 billion of Bitcoin in connection to the 2016 Bitfinex hacking incident, according to reports by The Block. Lichtenstein, 35, pleaded guilty to money laundering conspiracy and faces 20 years in prison. Morgan, 33 pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering conspiracy and one count of conspiracy to defraud the US, which could result in up 10 years in prison. 

According to the Justice Department, Lichtenstein used various hacking tools to gain access to the Bitfinex network and transfer bitcoin to a crypto wallet under his control. After the hack, he sought the help of his wife to launder the stolen funds.
