According to a status update on May 3, the developers revealed that the attack was initiated around 1:30 a.m. UTC (9:30 p.m. EST). Within four hours, they had successfully implemented a fix and now continue to monitor the results.

The Ghost devs stated that no user credit card information was affected and reassured the public that no credentials are stored in plaintext.
