Bitcoin’s hashrate and mining difficulty, two key bitcoin metrics, have almost reached all-time highs as the halving event nears.

The hashrate, or the network’s processing power, has increased to over 116 million TH/s (tera hashes per second) which is a big growth compared to around 95 million TH/s in late March.

Bitcoin's mining difficulty, which indicates the amount of competition among bitcoin miners, reached 16.10 trillion (T) today, as which is not far off its all-time high of 16.55 T recorded in March.
