The Block reported Bitfinex generated revenue of $21.4 million in Q1 2020, a near 100% increase from the $10.91 million revenue of Q4 2019, but still shorter than that of Q3 2019, which was $26.15 million.

Bitfinex’s revenue has been decreasing compared with its performance in the past few years. Despite having the most liquid Bitcoin pair, the HK-based crypto exchange’s share of total legitimate volume has dropped by 8% since January 2019.
