The company behind the blockchain-like Hedera network, Hedera Hashgraph, has added one of the best colleges in the world to its governing council.

According to an announcement on Wednesday, the University College London (UCL) will be joining Hedera’s council to run a node on the hashgraph, offer the Hedera Consensus Service to students and faculty and participate in forthcoming sub-committees that Hedera plans to make. UCL will also be performing blockchain and governance research with Hedera.
