Developers of Ethereum-based games expect the blockchain gaming industry to boom in the future two years, at the Ethereal Virtual Summit today.
Jeffrey Zirlin of Axie Infinity, a blockchain-driven collecting game, addressed the importance of introducing “concrete benefits” of these games to the public.
“Recently, we’ve seen a big move towards this term: play-to-earn,” said Zirlin. “Players are able to basically run a digital collectibles business just straight out of their Ethereum wallet.”
