Binance, the major cryptocurrency exchange, has hired banking and fintech expert Teana Baker-Taylor to oversee its expansion in the United Kingdom and European market.

Baker-Taylor, a veteran in the banking industry with more than 20 years of experience in HSBC, Citi and the Royal Bank of Scotland, and was the executive director of U.K.-based blockchain and digital assets industry body Global Digital Finance.
