Crypto-fiat payment services provider Alchemy Pay has acquired a money services license in Iowa, according to reports by Cointelegraph. The acquisition of a license is in compliance with local state laws that require any person or entity engaged in currency exchange or the money transmission business to acquire the license.
Earlier in September this year, the company secured a money transmitter license (MTL) in Arkansas. The company said it has submitted applications for MTL licenses in additional states and is awaiting responses in the upcoming months.
