Cointelegraph spoke out on its website that its well-planned seven-hour Bitcoin halving livestream on YouTube was blocked and deleted after six hours and 42 minutes when the program almost reached the finish line.

Cointelegraph said YouTube’s reason was that the livestream included “harmful or dangerous content” that violated YouTube’s community policy. “YouTube’s practices on this stuff are more opaque than transparent; we were just as surprised as the rest of our audience when the livestream cut out,” Cointelegraph claimed.

YouTube’s relationship with the crypto world has been going down for years as the renowned video sharing platform takes on the so-called “crypto-purge” to remove crypto ads, block crypto-focused channels and videos.
