Summary: SIMBA Chain announced today that the company has received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract of $200,000 from the US Department of Defense (DOD), to improve the integration, security, auditability, and controlled access of federal research and development (R&D) data.

SIMBA Chain announced today that the company has received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract of $200,000 from the US Department of Defense (DOD), to improve the integration, security, auditability, and controlled access of federal research and development (R&D) data.

The project to share documents and datasets with efficiency and security is named as Authenticity Ledger for Auditable Military Enclaved Data Access (ALAMEDA). Phase I will begin on June 1 and finish on Sept.30. The results of Phase I will prepare for an SBIR Phase II award of $1 million. If awarded, Phase II will concentrate on a broader commercialization strategy.

SIMBA Chain is a cloud-based, smart contract platform for secure messaging and transactions.
