Rick Rieder, BlackRock’s chief investment officer (CIO) and global head of allocation for fixed income, said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that BlackRock currently has very little exposure to Bitcoin, but this may change as public attitudes change, and the firm's portfolio may gain more Bitcoin exposure in the coming years.

"Time will tell whether Bitcoin will become a big part of the asset allocation framework,” said Rick Rieder, “I think over time people will become more and more comfortable with this."
