Benefits Outweigh the Risks: Former Goldman Sachs Executive on Bitcoin

A former head of Equities Derivatives at Goldman Sachs U.K. and founder of Global Macro Investors and Real Vision Group, Raoul Paul, strongly believes that Bitcoin’s potential is something to bet on in the long term. Paul stated that “I know all these macro guys, they’re all in it. They get it. They get the optionality. They may be complete believers, part believers, partial believers. But even then, if it’s a 1% chance of being right and the upside is 100x from here, you’d do this all day.” Paul states that any risk attached to investing in Bitcoin is outweighed by the benefits and potential that Bitcoin has in the future. Former Goldman Sachs executive has a been on the Bitcoin bandwagon for a while, Paul recalls that when he first gained knowledge of Bitcoin it was at 17 cents.
