The Celo Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind the Celo blockchain platform, raised $10 million in their sale of Celo Gold (cGLD) on CoinList.

The sale reportedly involved investors from more than 62 countries. Tokens were sold in the form of a Dutch Auction, where the price of the token was set after all bids had been taken in.

The proceeds from the May 11 sale will go towards “funding ongoing development work and for community grants supporting the ecosystem,"
