MicroStrategy announced on Wednesday that it intends to offer $500 million in aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers.

MicroStrategy intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the notes to purchase additional Bitcoin and for general corporate purposes.

As of press time, MicroStrategy's total Bitcoin holdings are around 205,000 tokens.
