According to coindesk, Binance founder and CEO Chengpeng Zhao is suing VC giant Sequoia Capital China to the high court in Hong Kong. He claims that SCC hurt his reputation, and prevent him raising fund at a favorable value, so he requires compensation from SCC. Before the court chambers on an order for “immediate summary of assessment of damages”, Zhao filed an application of hearing. The hearing will take place on Jun 25, and an inquiry of how Zhao’s reputation being hurt and what damage he sustained needs to be determined. If this being proofed, he will ask certain amount from SCC.
