Built on IBM's Blockchain Platform, the goal of the network is to remove manual transactions and aid the reduction of fraud and errors. The other founding members of Trust Your Suppliers' network are Anheuser-Busch, Cisco, Lenovo, Nokia, Schneider Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, and Vodafone. The chief supply chain officer at Lenovo's data center group, Renee Ure, commented on blockchain and the Trust Your Supplier network, "Blockchain has the ability to completely transform how companies onboard and manage their supplier network for the future. Through Trust Your Supplier, both buyers and suppliers will see the procurement benefits of blockchain through reductions in cost, complexity and speed."
