Transaction fees have experienced abnormal volatility during Bitcoin’s (BTC) third halving, growing by more than 800% in just one month.
From April 11 to May 14, BTC transaction fees skyrocketed as they increased by more than 1,250% from $0.38 to $5.16. While Bitcoin transaction fees have since dropped by about 33.3% to around $3.44 at the time of writing, fees have risen by 36.5% since the block reward halving on May 11.
