According to Forbes, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) appealed his 25-year prison sentence and fraud conviction. 

It is reported that SBF's appeal cost $605, may take several years, and must convince the court that Judge Lewis Kaplan made an error in the judgment, depriving SBF of its legal rights.

SBF was found guilty and sentenced on seven counts of fraud on March 28, and it is unclear how SBF's lawyers will defend him.
