It is reported that Worldchain is an OP Stack chain and will focus on scale. The short-term goal is to increase the gas limit of Layer 2 blocks.
In addition to execution layer improvements, the team is exploring alternative data availability (DA) layers, including Plasma-like DA. It is reported that World Chain may switch to an alternative DA layer to achieve further growth without burdening users with high fees.
