Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), leading banking group in Austria, is collaborating with Billion, a fintech operating in Poland and the UK, to develop early-stage RBI tokenization platform, as Billion announced today.

The new project to pilot digitized national currency will start with select use cases, including real-time tokenized money transactions and reducing cut-off time for custody customers to show businesses how they can enhance liquidity management, and achieve faster international fund transfers. The pilot project is scheduled for release by the end of the year.
