Coinbase’s Q1 revenue in 2024 reached $1.6 billion, a 72% month-on-month increase and a year-on-year increase of approximately 115%. Net income for the quarter was $1.18 billion, compared with a loss of $79 million a year earlier, and EBITDA was 1.01 billion.

Coinbase earned $4.04 per share, beating consensus estimates of $1.15 per share, according to MarketWatch.

The consumer-facing business remains Coinbase’s main source of revenue, with the company generating $935.2 million in revenue from consumer transactions. Coinbase said its user base is growing along with revenue from its subscription service.
