According to CoinDesk, three sources said that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requires exchanges to speed up the update of 19B-4 documents regarding spot Ethereum ETFs, but this does not mean that spot Ethereum ETFs will be approved.

A person familiar with the matter said that the S-1 filing still needs to be approved before the product can begin trading, and it may take an unspecified amount of time for the SEC to approve the S-1 filing because there is no deadline.

Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas wrote that the probability of approval of the spot Ethereum ETF has been increased from 25% to 75% because he heard some rumors that the SEC may make a 180-degree turn on this issue.
