SEC Chairman Says Not All Crypto Tokens Are Securities

Summary: In a public speech on Thursday, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler said: “Not every crypto token is a security... but I believe, again without prejudging, most are.” Regarding the spot Ethereum ETF, Gary Gensler declined to disclose any decisions from the agency, but he advised observers to "stay tuned."
