Ben Perrin, a Canadian Bitcoin Educator on Youtube, has scammed has crypto scammer and donated the money to charity. Perrin received a message with an investment opportunity that would double his Bitcoin investments every 24 hours. Knowing this was a scam Perrin decided he would scam the scammer and pretended to be a newbie to Bitcoin, stating he has received a better offer from somewhere else. Perrin retells how he got the scammer to send him $50 which he donated to charity, "I said that I would gladly invest $20,000 with them if they would simply send me $100 back, I could then return it to them, just to ensure that everything was legit."
