Crypto exchange Kraken is in pre-IPO financing talks, seeking to raise more than $100 million, expected to be completed by the end of this year, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the company's plans.

Rumors about Kraken's listing have been circulating over the past few years. The company has been busy dealing with charges filed last year by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it operated an unregistered platform and improperly mixed customer funds. A spokesperson declined to comment on the financing.
