According to Bloomberg, the Mt. Gox trustee announced that it will start the repayment of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash in early July 2024, and more than 140,000 BTC and BCH will be distributed to creditors.

Affected by this news, the crypto market is facing huge selling pressure.

Bitcoin once fell below $59,000. As of press time, the trading price rebounded to $59,962, a 24-hour drop of nearly 6%. Altcoins followed Bitcoin’s decline, with most of the top 200 tokens by market cap falling.
