Citizen’s SafeTrace function to combat COVID-19 infection is receiving vast criticism of invading users’ privacy.

The Citizen App, which provides two million users with location-based safety alerts, launched a new contact-tracing function, dubbed as SafeTrace, to track those who COVID-19 patients may have contacted when contagious.
