Wyoming’s Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation Technology held its first full-member virtual meeting on May 22, per Cointelegraph.

“This is a select committee that is able to sponsor its own legislation. In the past, it was a task force that was not able to,” said chairman Chris Rothfuss.

On May 17, Wyoming’s state legislature announced the establishment of the blockchain committee to concentrate on digital property rights.
